    Registration:

Sign-up will be Sunday morning from 7:00 am to around 10:00 am. at the OCCRA scoring trailer.

BRING YOUR HELMET TO REGISTRATION for the transponder scan.

Team racers need to register with their partner at the same time.

We will provide temporary numbers that will be assigned as the racer walks up for registration.

3" colored dots will go on the front number plate to represent the class that you have signed up in. We do this so that you'll know who you are racing against on the track.

    Format:

Each race will consist of multiple classes on the track at the same time. Each class will start on their own row 30 seconds apart. Each line will be started by flag and will be live engine. Make sure that you go on your row and not the one before.

A and B races will be 40 minutes plus 1 lap. This means that when the overall leader of the race comes through after the 40 minute mark, he/she will be given the white flag for one more lap and the checkered flag will come out when they come into scoring again to finish the race. The timer starts when the first row takes off.

50 and 65 races will be 25 minutes to the checkered flag. Based on the leader's lap times, the white flag will come out 1 lap-time before 25 minutes. This track will be a shortened version of the GP track with much easier obstacles.

Team Race is 2 hours plus 1 lap. This means that when the overall leader of the race comes through after the 40 minute mark, he/she will be given the white flag for one more lap and the checkered flag will come out when they come into scoring again to finish the race. The timer starts when the first row takes off.

    • Teams of 2 riders
    • Riders must switch in designated area. Riders will hand off a hair scrunchie (we'll provide them). Pit row is 1st gear only. If you speed, we will make you pause.
    • Teams made from different skill levels of racers must compete in the faster racer's class. Example: an expert and a novice rider team up; they will need to sign up for expert class. We don't want sandbagging!
      • The exception for this is for the +40 class where both riders must be over 40 years old and the parent/child class wherethe class is reserved for parents/legal guardians and their legal children. Minimum bike size is 85 cc 17/14 wheel size.
    • Each team member must complete at least 50% of the laps of the other team member. Example: rider 1 completes 8 laps, rider 2 must complete atleast 4 laps too. This way teams are balanced between both riders.

    Scoring:

This event will be digitally scored by OCCRA with hand scoring backup. We will place a RFID label under the visor of your helmet which will score you when you go through the scoring chute.

Your temporary number must be on the front number plate and the side plate closest to the scoring trailer (probably the left side) TIP: Put a layer of duct tape on your number plate before sticking the temporary number. The duct tape removes easier than the temporary number decal.

It is your responsibility to get scored. The scoring chute is designed to slow you down so that you can be picked up by the system but it is up to you to make sure that you were scored. There will be a flagger there to make you pause if needed.

    Awards:

Awards will be through given through fifth place. Awards will be given at the podium 30 minutes after each event.
